NC Innovation Council Approves RevTech Labs as First Nonprofit Partner

CHARLOTTE, NC, UNITED STATES, April 1, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- The North Carolina Innovation Council has approved RevTech Labs Foundation as the first nonprofit partner of the North Carolina Regulatory Sandbox, following a vote at its March 25 meeting.

The Regulatory Sandbox is a State supported program that allows companies to test innovative financial, insurance, and related technologies in a controlled environment with tailored regulatory guidance. The General Assembly emphasized the importance of nonprofit partners in helping applicants navigate the process and noted that modernizing these regulatory frameworks is key to maintaining North Carolina’s economic competitiveness.

RevTech Labs, a nationally recognized nonprofit accelerator based in Charlotte, connects founders with strategic corporate partners, funding opportunities, and venture capital networks. Through its accelerators, marquee events, and national roadshows, it elevates founder visibility and supports high potential finance and insurance startups.
